Grecotel Creta Palace is generally considered a lovely beachfront hotel, approximately a 40-minute walk or a short cab ride from Rethymno, boasting spacious and very clean rooms alongside spotless grounds. Guests particularly enjoy the excellent swimming pool and convenient access to loungers on the beach, also the great selection of quality food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Some guests, however, have noted that certain rooms facing the corridor may experience noise issues. Families especially appreciate the family bungalows with garden views and complimentary lunches and snacks for children included with half-board, as well as fitness activities, and a la carte restaurants on site, especially Barbarossa.

friendly staff amazing drinks sea view

the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. izabella assisted with showing me the island activities available. the food and drinks were amazing too. i stayed in a superior double sea view room and it was perfect.

the breakfast hot drinks are only available via waiter service, slow because of the volume of people.

lovely stay indeed

lovely staff super clean room comfy sunbeds

every single staff member was lovely and helpful. our room was super clean. sunbeds was so comfy. the complex was tidy. attention to detail was obvious.

the pool isn't heated. everything else was great.

the hotel is approximately 700 meters from various taverns and shopping areas. also, rethymnon city center and the harbour are about 5-7 minutes away by taxi. it is a very convenient ride.
